John Sammon

Director, Executive Producer

John is an acclaimed, multi-award-winning film and television director. He earned his MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory in 2001 and was based in Los Angeles for 9 years. During that time, while working as an independent filmmaker, John oversaw the national accreditation of the New York Film Academy, led the creation of the institution’s first MFA in Filmmaking Program, and supervised the opening of 8 film schools around the world. In 2007, John relocated to Dubai, UAE, to work as a director and producer for multiple documentary and reality television series. In 2012, he co-founded Saluki Media, a leading film & television production company in the Middle East region.

John has directed and produced hundreds of hours of content for major international broadcasters including National Geographic, Disney, NBC Universal and CNBC. His films have opened major international conferences & events, and have played before VIP audiences including the King of Spain, several former US Presidents, and multiple Heads of State.

John has completed two full circumnavigations of the planet -across 5 continents- while directing documentaries to promote sustainability initiatives. Now, leading Roseland Pictures and proudly based in the USA with his family as residents of Wake Forest, NC, John enjoys mixing his honed approach to western, cinematic storytelling with a dash of the culture and inspiration that he has gleaned through many adventures around the globe.

Nancy Saade

Executive Producer

Nancy began her career producing multinational TV commercials in the MENA region. A desire to focus on more in-depth storytelling soon brought her to the world of documentary filmmaking where she gained a wealth of experience producing documentary features, documentary series, and TV shows around the globe. After producing several TV shows in Dubai, Nancy co-founded Saluki Media, a leading film & television production company in the Middle East region. She went on to produce diverse content for regional and international broadcasters including BBC, Fox, and National Geographic to name a few. Nancy is excited to embark on a new journey with Roseland Pictures and to add her own international flair to the creation of great local content.

David Wright

Brand and Strategy Director

With over 28 years of experience, David is a multi-award winning brand and creative strategist in the fields of advertising, branding, events and MarComs. Having managed several major branding and advertising agencies in Dubai, David has gained a wealth of experience in film and television through multiple collaborations with international clients.

Pedro Miralles

Senior Animator

Pedro is a senior lead 3D animator with over 14 years of experience creating 3D animation and motion graphics projects. After three years as a professor of computer graphics at the University of Informatics Sciences in Havana, Cuba, he joined the Cuban Institute of Cinematography before relocating to Dubai in 2015. His current role is to help a team of artists deliver high-end, innovative and beautiful animated content.

Vinson Thomas

Finance Director

Vinson is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience, combining strong business acumen and extensive knowledge in financial management, unrivalled experience in all facets of accounting and financial analysis. Besides having strong interpersonal and leadership skills, Vinson possesses an exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling complex financial material, and is adept at working in multicultural environments.
